This jar by Jorge Quintana is another example of exquisite fine-line work. The central design motif is that of a Guacamaya, or Macaw, that so typifies designs found in the nearby archeological ruins of Paquimé, Casas Grandes Chihuahua, Mexico. What is stunning about this overall design is that every color and line must be painted twice. There must be over 10,000 brush strokes!
